By the end of this week, Naomi, you'll have completed nearly every part of your growth and just be adding fat cells and continuing to get antibodies from me. If you're born this week, you'll be considered "early full term" and shouldn't require a mandatory NICU stay unless it's actually necessary. You may weigh 6.8 lbs and be about 19.5 to 20.5 inches long. We love you very much!
I'm feeling about like I expect to right now--huge, swollen, ungraceful, sore in the pelvis and back. I have weekly appointments with my OB but have been declining the cervical checks. I also have weekly appointments with my chiropractor to keep my pelvis aligned and hopefully reduce my pain.
I've packed (most of) my bag and Naomi's nursery is almost organized. I will purchase the rest of the Amazon baby registry next week and get an overnight bag ready for Kathryn. I'm starting to drink red raspberry leaf tea and take evening primrose oil to encourage my body to be ready and strong for when it's time for labor. I'll start eating dates this week and will start taking black cohash next week, along with a few other methods. We're ready whenever she's ready!
