Start of Week 5

We're at the start of Week 5, when baby's heart starts to develop.  Two little tubes are already working!  And the neural tube (brain and spinal cord) is present.  The placenta and umbilical cord are primitive, but there, and working too.  Some sources say the baby is the size of a sesame seed; others say an orange seed.  That seems like a big difference to me, so who knows.  Already loving this little life.

Kathryn's 2 year old birthday party was yesterday, and I bet we had 50-60 people here.  Everyone seemed to have fun.  I did have some strong, lower back pain afterward for a few hours.  I was afraid that, with the stress and running around, I maybe was miscarrying.  After laying down for an hour, and praying quite a bit, I felt somewhat better.  But I was still so worried that I slept terrible last night.

I want to believe everything will be fine, but right now my history is 50/50.
