Clover, you start your sixth week today. Your ears, mouth and nose are beginning to shape. You have little arm and leg buds. Your heart is beating and your blood is flowing. Your intestines and lungs have also started to form! You're about a quarter inch long. We love you very much.
I'm still so bloated...that's really my only symptom still. 3 more weeks until my first appointment! I do wish it was sooner, but at that point, Clover should look more like a baby on an ultrasound.
I'm teaching Kathryn to say "Mommy's tummy" when I ask "where's the baby?" She thinks it's pretty funny so far. :)
Edited to add: When our church group came over for s'mores tonight, Kathryn wouldn't say her line. I asked, "where's the baby?" and she whined really loudly for "gummies". So I had to answer the question for her, and everyone was glad for us. Hopefully Kathryn will be more up for her role when we tell our parents.
